Entry to a Major or Changing Campus

An updated Form I-20 or Form Ds-2019 will be needed once a student completes the Entry to a Major process or changes campuses. Students should submit a Change of Major, Degree Level or Campus request in the ISSS Portal. 

F-1 Students 

• If you need to move from the Galveston campus to the College Station campus, your school code on the I-20 will change from SNA214F00334001 to SNA214F00334000. 
• If your major also changed then ISSS will update that on the I-20 as well.

J-1 Students 

• If you need to move from the Galveston campus to the College Station campus, your program code will not change, but we will update the address in your “site of activity” information on your DS-2019. 
• If your major also changed then ISSS will update that on the DS-2019 as well.
