Housing

Each bungalow offers 600 square feet of space with 2–4 beds, 4 closets, 2 desks, and a bathroom featuring a shower and double sinks. Guests can enjoy front and back porches with covered decks, and all units are ADA compliant. There are eight bungalows in total.

Academic Building

The facility includes two classrooms, wet and dry lab rooms, a temperature-controlled collection room, a common area, a multipurpose room, a cafeteria, laundry facilities, and is fully ADA compliant.

Grounds

The property spans over 250 acres and borders the Eternal Children’s Rainforest and Monteverde Conservation Area. Visitors can explore more than two miles of trails leading to two waterfalls, an orchid sanctuary with 80+ species, and unique research features like a 10-meter meteorological tower, a 40-meter canopy tower, permanent tree plots, a weir dam, and a weather station network along the Peñas Blancas River. Elevation ranges from 1,800 to 450 meters, offering diverse ecosystems and breathtaking views.
