The World Fair is your opportunity to explore Texas A&M University's abroad programs all in one place and find your perfect match! With hundreds of programs traveling to every continent around the world, the World Fair is intended to help you navigate your options and make selecting the right program as easy as possible. Get ready to explore a world of opportunities to study abroad and embark on your next adventure!

Before You Go

  • Create a profile and search for a few programs of interest
  • Talk to your academic adviser to see how an international experience can fit into your degree plan
  • Visit Steps for Going Abroad to learn more about how to go abroad and different program types

Things to consider

 

  • Academics: What coursework do you want to take abroad? Have you thought about an internship or research abroad?
  • Language: Do you want to develop your foreign language skills or maybe learn a new language? Or do you want to stick with an English-speaking program?
  • Timing: How long do you want to be abroad?
  • Culture: Do you want to travel and learn with other Aggies or immerse yourself with students and professors from the host country? Do you want to live with a host family, in a dorm, or get your own place?
  • Finances: What is your budget for going abroad? Do you qualify for financial aid? Are you interested in scholarships?

While at the World Fair

  • Talk with program leaders staffing the tables and ask lots of questions - academic fit, cost, travel logistics, and more
  • Stop by our affiliate provider tables to learn more about their wide variety of programs and destinations
  • Get as much information as possible from our campus partners who will be there. Learn about scholarships, internships, disability accommodations, and more
  • Chat with other Aggies who have already been abroad about their experience before, during and after their program
  • Win Prizes!
  • Grab some free swag
