Current processing times (not including mailing): Routine 4-6 weeks and Expedited 2-3


SPRING 2025 Walk-in hours:  

  • CLOSED  4/18/2025

  • Monday - Thursday 9:30 am  - 3:30 pm

  • Fridays 9:30 am - 2:30 pm


PAYMENTS -Payments are separate

  • USDOS must be a check or money order ONLY 

    • Name must be pre-printed on the check (no starter checks)

    • Separate check or money order for each applicant

    • Application fee, Expedite fee, and/or 1-2 day completed book express shipping to applicant

  • TAMU can be debit/credit/check/money order

    • Name must be pre-printed on the check (no starter checks)

    • Execution fee, Photo fee, and/or 1-2 day application express shipping to processing facility


All applicants must be present for a passport
It is optimal if you type and print your application to avoid errors that will need correction and cause delays

DO NOT pay online to fill out passport forms. FREE official https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html has the FREE U.S. Government form fillers.

Hand Carry/Courier applications are NOT accepted unless traveler is 2 weeks (or 4 weeks and needs a visa) from travel
