Short Bio:
With a background in international affairs, education, and program management, Jillian is a passionate advocate for international education and intercultural exchange. In her work, Jillian endeavors to support students in expanding their worldviews, building cross-cultural connections, and applying classroom learning to different real-world contexts. Prior to joining Texas A&M, Jillian lived and worked in Tunisia, where she coordinated the programming of an official U.S. cultural and educational center managed by the nonprofit organization Amideast. She also brings with her previous experience at a wide range of internationally-oriented institutions, including the Washington English Center, Middle East Institute, U.S. Department of State, and Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition
