Departments, units, and recognized student organizations may develop group programs in coordination with Education Abroad. All group programs, whether for credit or no credit, require a provider and a proposal submitted in advance to facilitate approval to proceed with planning, location vetting, and risk review.
When identifying a provider, program leaders should consider a university partner or a third-party international service provider that can arrange logistical support, as well as meet university contractual requirements and safety standards.

- Proposing a Faculty-led Program (more than 50% of the course is taught abroad)
- Proposing an International Field Trip (more than 50% of the course is taught on campus)
For group programs tied to a course transcribed by another accredited institution for transfer credit:
