APPLICATION DEADLINE
Applications to the 2025-2026 Cohort of the Global Aggie Credential are due by Friday, October 10th.
The Texas A&M Global Aggie Credential Program is designed to develop students' global competencies, enhance their cultural understanding, and prepare them for leadership roles in an increasingly interconnected world.
By engaging with experiential learning opportunities, such as study abroad, intercultural workshops, and globally focused coursework, the Global Aggie Credential helps participants stand out in their academic and professional pursuits by formally recognizing their dedication to global engagement. The program is open to students from all disciplines.

Who It's For
How to Qualify

Globally Oriented Coursework
Complete 6 credit hours of International and Cultural Diversity courses. These are interdisciplinary subjects related to global issues, cultures, international relations, and more.

Intercultural Events
Attend and submit reflections on 10 intercultural events or seminars on campus. These could include lectures, cultural events, and discussions.

Sustained Engagement
Participate in two semester-long pre-approved activities such as participating in an international club, engaging in service learning, or studying abroad.

International Experience
Complete one international engagement activity such as study abroad, an international internship, or a global research project.

Reflection and/or Presentation
Present any findings and reflections in a formal setting of your choosing or submit a comprehensive reflection paper.

Global Competency Training & Development
Attend a Global Engagement Global Competency training and complete the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) pre-test and post-test.
