Countries I Have Visited:
Whitney is fortunate to have traveled to nearly 40 countries. Whitney studied abroad in the U.K., China, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago. Whitney previously worked for Semester at Sea, sailed around the world on the spring and summer 2014 voyages, and was introduced to many new countries while working on these voyages. Whitney was recently awarded a Fulbright International Education Administrators award to Korea.
Short Bio:
Whitney Longnecker is an international educator with 15 years of education abroad experience. Whitney has a passion for traveler health and safety, pre-departure preparation, and risk management and emergency response, and she presents nationally on these topics. Throughout her career, Whitney has served institutions and education abroad providers including Texas Tech University, Penn State University, Semester at Sea, and Central College. When not dreaming about new travel destinations, Whitney enjoys indoor cycling, a strong cup of coffee (always hot! no, never iced), gardening, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
