Short Bio:
Martin has been working in all facets of international education since 2011. His professional experience includes undergraduate and graduate academic and immigration advising, recruiting, student services coordination, and departmental management. He currently serves as a member of the Interpersonal Violence Prevention Working Group, as a mentor for the LGTBQ+ Pride Center, and as a NAFSA Trainer Corps trainer. One of his aspirations is to create collective understanding of often marginalized or forgotten populations and provide an additional lens by which to inform practice. He hopes to continue lifting the voices of others, educating students and staff on intercultural competency, and guiding others towards becoming global citizens with a clear pathway to success.
