Pizza, cookies and study abroad! Global Ambassador Khalid Ansari and Program Manager Grace Kelly will lead a presentation on studying abroad that is specific to majors inside the College of Arts and Sciences. We will then have a panel of three to four returnees from the college to share about their own experiences in a variety of program types (exchange, faculty-led, private provider, etc.). We will talk about some of the myths as well as the resources available to students. We will have a time for questions and will be providing pizza, drinks, and dessert for all attendees. We will hold a raffle for our college’s Study Abroad office merchandise, and do giveaways. After the event we will have advising time for students interested in getting specific questions answered. Attendees will leave with brochures, and the ability to make an appointment via a QR code, submit questions via a Google Form, or join our GroupMe.

This event is worth 300 MaroonBase points! Earn points by checking in on the TAMU MaroonBase app at this and other IEW events to be entered in our next monthly prize drawing for gift cards to restaurants, businesses, spas, and more! Plus, points go toward “year of free food” drawings from Raising Cane’s, Burger Mojo, Stampede, Abu Omar Halal, and Bad Chx! Details on the app at https://maroonbase.tamu.edu
