BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, TX., JULY 5, 2024 – Texas A&M University’s Associate Vice President of Global Engagement and Senior International Officer (SIO) Dr. Holly Hudson has been selected by the Association of International Education Administrators as a 2024-25 Presidential Fellow.

The Presidential Fellows Program is AIEA’s highly competitive, signature program of mentorship for new SIOs. The AIEA Presidential Fellows Committee carefully reviews and selects up to only five fellows, who are then matched with an experienced SIO, who serves as a mentor throughout the school year. Hudson has been an SIO at Texas A&M University since 2022.

“I am honored to be named an AIEA Presidential Fellow and for all the experiences that come with this distinction, "Hudson said. “This unique opportunity allows me to engage and learn from peers with robust global portfolios and apply that knowledge to inform and strengthen global engagement and Texas A&M University.”

Through the fellowship, Hudson will observe how experienced SIOs and their institutions approach  international education and how they navigate challenges and advocate for global engagement on their campuses.

“We’re thrilled for Dr. Hudson for this prestigious opportunity,” said Texas A&M Executive Vice President and Provost Alan Sams. “This  fellowship will continue to build Texas A&M’s global recognition as well as strengthen Dr. Hudson’s knowledge and leadership for international education.”
